This Midlothian lakeside property presented an opportunity to build a complete outdoor environment around a natural waterfront setting rather than design against it.
The project delivers a multi-level composite deck with clean cable railing lines that frame unobstructed lake views from every zone. A custom pool with integrated waterfall feature and adjoining spa anchors the lower level. The pool deck provides generous hardscape area for both formal entertaining and casual outdoor use, with shade elements positioned to maximize afternoon comfort.
Material selections were made specifically to complement the waterfront context — durable composites for the deck, premium stone for pool coping, and cable railing to keep sightlines clean. Virginia Beach Patios delivered this project as a complete design-build engagement from initial concept through construction completion.
