This Chesapeake project is built around a dual Azenco structure system — an R-Blade motorized louvered pergola paired with a solid R-Shade roof cover — creating two functionally distinct zones that operate independently while reading as a single cohesive outdoor environment.
The R-Blade zone provides adjustable shade and weather protection with motorized louvers that open fully for sun or close for rain cover. The R-Shade zone delivers a fully covered, year-round room anchored by automated privacy screens that enclose the space on demand. Together the structures frame a herringbone paver pool deck that connects both zones to the pool surround.
