Retreat With Covered Seats — Azenco R-Blade Pergola, Fire Pit & Outdoor Kitchen

This Virginia Beach project centers on a combined kitchen and lounge zone anchored by an Azenco R-Blade motorized louvered pergola. The louver system allows continuous use throughout the year, adjusting from full shade to open sky as conditions change. An integrated gas fire pit defines the lounge perimeter and extends the functional season into cooler months.

The surrounding paver deck is designed to serve both zones — kitchen traffic on one side, seating on the other — with custom privacy walls along the property line creating a defined outdoor room. In-Lite low-voltage lighting runs throughout the hardscape and landscape, transitioning the space from a daytime environment to an evening one without requiring any setup.
